| The Bangladesh Society for Safe Food (BSSF) has ushered in a new chapter with the announcement of its 21-member Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term. The election, held with enthusiastic participation from general members, culminated in the declaration of results by Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Md. Bahanur Rahman. Assisting him were Dr. Md. A. Salek, Chief Technical Consultant at ACI Animal Health, and Dr. Md. Ali Imam, Managing Director of JIMS Tech International Following the announcement, the proposed committee was unanimously endorsed by the society’s general members, reflecting strong internal consensus and unity.
Renowned academic and researcher Professor Dr. Md. Khaled Hossain of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University has been re-elected as President, reaffirming members’ trust in his leadership. Alongside him, Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Jahan, Managing Director of Safe Bio Products Ltd., retains his role as General Secretary.
