Bangladeshi Nutritionists Participate in Prestigious Global Dairy Science Meeting in the U.S.

Louisville, Kentucky | June 25, 2025 (Bangladesh Time): The ADSA (American Dairy Science Association) Annual Meeting 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious gatherings in dairy science, is currently taking place at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Held from June 22 to 25, the event brings together a global community of dairy professionals, researchers, academics, and students.

This year, a group of nutritionists from Bangladesh is proudly participating in the conference, joining their international counterparts to share knowledge and explore the future of dairy science.

With the theme “Shape your future and the future of dairy,” the meeting features educational symposia, oral and poster presentations, networking sessions, and industry discussions, covering a broad spectrum from dairy production to dairy foods.

A major highlight of this year’s event is the first-ever Applied Nutrition Symposium and Panel Discussion, which focuses on feeding high oleic soybeans and balancing diets to optimize milk fat content.

One participating Bangladeshi nutritionist remarked: “We are honored to be part of this global platform. The insights we are gaining here—especially in applied dairy nutrition—can be directly implemented back home to support our farmers and improve their profitability.”

Participants also have the opportunity to present research papers, display posters, and engage in technical discussions. Special sessions are dedicated to mentoring young researchers and students, encouraging international collaboration and innovation.

This participation marks a significant step forward for Bangladesh in the global dairy research community, opening doors to cutting-edge practices and collaborative opportunities that can benefit the local dairy sector.

The ADSA Annual Meeting continues to be a landmark event for advancing dairy science and fostering cross-border exchange of ideas and expertise.
