AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2025 Concludes Successfully in Almaty

Over the three-day event, held from October 29 to 31, more than 170 companies from 25 countries presented advanced technologies, products, and solutions for agriculture, food production, and cold storage. The exhibitions attracted hundreds of professionals, entrepreneurs, and government representatives, becoming a dynamic platform for business networking, investment discussions, and technology exchange.

This year’s exhibitions featured a record participation of 174 companies, including 43 from Kazakhstan and 131 international exhibitors representing Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, China, and the United States, among others. Notably, 33 companies joined AgroWorld Qazaqstan for the first time, reflecting growing international interest in Kazakhstan’s rapidly developing agricultural market.

Focus on Sustainable Agriculture and Smart Technologies: The exhibitions showcased a wide range of innovations—from smart irrigation systems and digital farm management tools to veterinary and livestock solutions, poultry production technologies, and post-harvest processing equipment.
Special emphasis was placed on sustainable farming, climate adaptation, and water-efficient technologies—key themes in light of global environmental challenges.

The poultry sector once again remained a major highlight, with 25 companies from 15 countries exhibiting cutting-edge solutions for feeding, incubation, processing, and quality control.

Key Discussions and Industry Insights: The Plenary Session titled “Main Issues of the Agro-Industrial Complex in Central Asia: Challenges and Partnerships” brought together senior officials, industry experts, and international partners to discuss water resource management, processing barriers, investment attraction, and sustainable development strategies.

Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Aslan Abdraimov emphasized the country’s ongoing reforms in water management, including the new Water Code 2024, while Ari Veldhausen, Agricultural Counsellor at the Embassy of the Netherlands, underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in sustainable food systems.

Representatives from Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian nations also shared their experiences in developing resilient agricultural economies through innovation and regional partnership.

Workshops and Collaborative Programs: The event also hosted several thematic sessions, including:

• “Dutch Solutions and Innovations for Your Poultry Business”, organized by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Dutch Poultry Center;
• The “School of Dairy Farmers” workshop in partnership with DairyNews, focusing on advanced genetics, animal welfare, and automation in dairy farming;
• Expert sessions on “Poultry Intestinal Health”, “Horticulture and Berry Projects”, and “AgroFuture: Climate Initiatives and Sustainable Development.”

These programs created meaningful opportunities for participants to exchange knowledge, explore joint projects, and identify investment potential across Central Asia’s agricultural value chain.

Successful Completion and Positive Outlook: Organized by the Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company in cooperation with the ICA Events Group, the exhibitions received official support from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty, and the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan. The successful completion of AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2025 and ColdChain Qazaqstan 2025 once again reaffirmed Almaty’s role as the leading meeting point for agricultural professionals and technology providers in Central Asia.
