| On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh (AHCAB) organized its Annual Doa and Iftar Mahfil followed by dinner on Saturday, 28 February 2026, at the Grand Ballroom of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in Dhaka.
The event was attended by AHCAB President Sayem ul Haq, Secretary General Md Anowar Hossen, members of the executive committee, and distinguished guests. The chief guest of the program was Dr. Abu Sufian, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services (DLS). Representatives of leading animal health companies, industry stakeholders, and other invited guests from the livestock and poultry sector were also present. Special prayers were offered seeking continued growth of the animal health industry, sustainable livestock production, and enhanced contribution of the sector to the national economy. Speakers highlighted the crucial role of animal health companies in improving productivity in poultry, dairy, and fisheries through quality products, modern technologies, and professional services. In his remarks, the DLS Director General emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening the livestock sector through effective disease control, improved veterinary services, and closer collaboration with private stakeholders. The organizers expressed hope that the gathering would further strengthen professional ties and cooperation among stakeholders in the animal health industry. |
