CVASU and UVAS, Pakistan Sign MoU to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration

Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Bangladesh, and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in education, research, and faculty and student exchange programmes.

The MoU was signed during an official visit to Pakistan by a delegation from CVASU, led by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, on 12 December 2025. During the visit, the delegation also attended the 25th DVM Intern Students’ Concluding Ceremony at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore.

Under this agreement, both universities will collaborate in joint academic and research activities, facilitate the exchange of students and staff, and promote capacity building in higher education. The partnership is expected to open new avenues for academic advancement and research, particularly in key areas such as Food Science, Fisheries, and Veterinary Sciences.

Officials from both institutions expressed optimism that this collaboration will elevate the global standing of the two universities and foster long-term cooperation. The MoU is anticipated to serve as a strong bridge between CVASU and UVAS in higher education and scientific research, contributing significantly to regional and international academic development.
