| The exhibition stall of the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying was inaugurated by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare of India, at the Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026 held in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh on 10 April 2026.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Secretary of Department of Agricultural Research and Education and Director General of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Dr Mangi Lal Jat. A key attraction of the exhibition stall was the live demonstration of innovative fisheries technologies, showcasing modern solutions and advanced practices aimed at improving fish production, enhancing efficiency, and promoting sustainable aquaculture. The exhibition highlights the growing importance of technological innovation in the fisheries sector and provides farmers, researchers, and stakeholders an opportunity to learn about new advancements that can support productivity and sustainable development in aquaculture. |
