Samar Chandra Roy Successfully Completes Cyber Hygiene Training

A cyber awareness initiative aimed at strengthening digital safety skills has successfully concluded, with participants receiving completion certificates under a joint program organized by The Asia Foundation and SAJIDA Foundation.

The training, held on 19 April 2026, focused on essential cyber hygiene practices, equipping participants with practical knowledge to stay secure in the digital environment. Among the certified participants was Dr. Samar Chandra Roy, who successfully completed the program.

This initiative was conducted under the APAC Cybersecurity Fund, with partnership support from CyberPeace Institute and Global Cyber Alliance, and backed by Google.org.

Officials from both organizing bodies emphasized the importance of cyber hygiene in today’s increasingly connected world, noting that such training programs play a vital role in enhancing individual awareness and building safer online communities.

The program reflects a growing effort to promote cybersecurity literacy across the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in developing countries where digital adoption is rapidly increasing.
