| The XLI Biovet International Symposium 2025 was successfully held in Tarragona, Spain, with the participation of 112 delegates from 25 countries. Organized by Biovet S.A., the four-day event, held from October 14 to 17, brought together global researchers, scientists, and industry experts to share the latest advancements in natural additives for the animal production industry.
During the symposium, experts from international universities, the Biovet technical team, and industry representatives presented recent research findings in the fields of poultry, swine, and aquaculture. The discussions covered several key innovations, including the role of Alquerfeed Diatom in improving intestinal transit and productivity, the efficacy of Alquermold Natural Plus and Alquermold ECI in controlling microbiological challenges, the application of Silicoglycidol and Biovet’s mycotoxin binders in preventing mycotoxicosis, and the expanding use of pronutrients in aquaculture, particularly in tilapia production.
From Bangladesh, several distinguished delegates attended the symposium. Among them was Mr. Rafiul Karim, Managing Director & Dr. Tushar Chowdhury, Director of Doctors Agro Vet Ltd., the official distributor of Biovet S.A. in Bangladesh. Other notable participants included Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam (Director, Operation – Advance Feed), Mr. Debangshu Bikash Bhowmik (Director, Agata Feed Mill Ltd.), Dr. Biplob Kumar Akash (Managing Director, Japfa Comfeed Bangladesh PTE Ltd.), Dr. Aung Tun Aye (CEO, Agro Solution), and Mr. Prince Khan (Senior DGM, Alal Group). Following two intensive scientific sessions, delegates also enjoyed cultural and networking activities in Tarragona. Blending science, culture, and innovation, the Biovet Symposium 2025 once again proved to be a globally significant event for the animal health and nutrition industry. |
