| On 1st January 2026, Dr. Asif Hossain officially joined Gosa Nutribiotech Private Limited as the Country Manager for Bangladesh. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Asif served in key positions at several reputed organizations, most notably at Optima Life Sciences Private Limited, where he played an important role in business development and technical operations.
A distinguished talent from Kishoreganj district, Dr. Asif Hossain was born on 26 August 1990. Dr. Asif completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2013 from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), a five-year professional program. He later obtained his Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology in 2015 from the same university, during which he was awarded the prestigious NST Fellowship for academic excellence. He began his professional career at Eon Animal Health Products Limited, where he worked for over five years, ultimately serving as Assistant Manager before his resignation. Throughout his career, Dr. Asif has extensively traveled across almost all districts of Bangladesh and also abroad for professional engagements, including company visits and participation in international exhibitions. Subsequently, he worked with Provet Resources Limited & Optima Life Sciences Private Limited, gaining diversified experience in the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture sectors. When asked about his joining Gosa Nutribiotech Private Limited, Dr. Asif stated to Mr. Md.
