| Under the Climate Resilient Agricultural Advancement in Barind (CRAAB) project, a workshop on Credit Underwriting and Financial Linkage for Farmers and Agri-Entrepreneurs was successfully organized at the Business Learning Center (BLC) in Dhaka on 23 July 2025.
The event was made possible through the generous support of HSBC and brought together key stakeholders including representatives from Bangladesh Bank, Sonali Bank, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB), Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), farmers, and agri-entrepreneurs. Speakers at the workshop emphasized the importance of financial inclusion for smallholder farmers and agri-entrepreneurs, highlighting that enhanced access to credit is essential for promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices in the Barind region.
