| Bangladesh’s leading aquaculture enterprise Fishtech Hatchery Limited has returned home after successfully representing the country at the prestigious 5th INFOFISH World Tilapia Trade and Technical Conference & Exhibition (TILAPIA 2025), held from 3–4 November 2025 at the Le Concorde Ballroom, Jubilee Prestige Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, in collaboration with ISTA13.
Led by Mr. Mohammed Tarique Sarker, Managing Director of Fishtech Hatchery Limited, the delegation joined aquaculture experts, researchers, and business leaders from around the world to explore the conference theme — “Innovation, Integration & Profitability in Aquaculture.” During the two-day event, participants discussed key challenges and opportunities in the global tilapia industry, including market trends, sustainability, feed efficiency, breeding innovations, and digital transformation. The conference also featured interactive sessions and networking opportunities designed to foster partnerships and knowledge exchange among stakeholders. The opening ceremony was graced by notable dignitaries such as Dr. Pholphisin Suvanachai (Department of Fisheries, Thailand), Prof. Dr. Kevin Fitzsimmons (University of Arizona, Chairperson of TILAPIA 2025), Mr. Lukas Manomaitis (USSEC East Asia Aquaculture Lead), and Ms. Gemma Meermans Matainaho (Acting Director, INFOFISH).
